Old Classic - Look Featuring MAC Club Eye Shadow
I was on a duo-chrome kick a while back and purchased MAC Club. This is a classic MAC shade for sure. It has a warm red brown base shade and it flashes a pearly green. This is not a unique shade with dupes abound all over the place, but I thought having the classic would be best. I do quite so deserve the very best after all. :)
What strikes me is how wearable this eye shadow is. Applied with a light hand, it passes itself rightly as a neutral shade with an indeterminate grey green flash. I used a flat weasel haired brush to pat more heavily to bring out a bit more intensity. The other way to wear it of course is on a cream shadow base, preferably a black one which would really amp up the intensity even more.

Funny looking pan, looking like a grey green with this light and angled this way.
This works incredibly well as a one-and-done eye shadow, looking very much like I've used at least two colors. I paired the Club with a light brown eye liner (SUQQU Gel Eyeliner Pencil 04-Light Brown*) and added some mascara. I kept the rest of my face very sedate using Addiction blush in 26 Forbidden City (plum brown) and a yellow-toned nude lip gloss (SUQQU Flawless Lip Gloss 01 Amecha*).

Ah, Club(bing), not just for the young-uns. Seriously, it's marvelous all the complex shades you get with one eye shadow.

Do you own MAC Club or similar shades? Do you use them for every day use or need a stern reminder to pull it out of your drawer? *spank spank!*
